Blue the Bear

Blue 🐻

The Bear

Blue is a sky-blue bear who lives in a cosy underground burrow deep in the forest. He is thoughtful, gentle, and deeply curious about the world around him. He collects smooth river pebbles, reads everything he can find, and makes honey tea every morning without fail.

Blue doesn't always know what he's feeling — but he keeps walking anyway. That, more than anything, is his bravery.

Carries: a yellow backpack, a folded map, a smooth round stone, and a feather from last autumn.

Ren the Fox

Ren 🦊

The Fox

Ren is a slender amber fox with cream fur at her chest and chin. She wears a delicate mask made of pressed leaves across her eyes — not to hide who she is, but because she hasn't yet felt safe enough to show the world the real her.

She is brave in ways she doesn't recognise yet. Meeting Blue is the beginning of that recognition.

Carries: a worn paper map, and more courage than she knows.

Orion the Owl

Orion 🦉

The Owl

Orion is a vast barn owl who has watched from the trees for longer than most things in the forest can remember. His amber eyes carry a kind of seeing that goes beyond the merely visual. He speaks rarely, but when he does, it lands.

He teaches Blue and Ren that every feeling has something to teach — if you're willing to stay still long enough to listen.

Perches: on silver birch branches, above the things that matter most.

Brum the Bear

Brum 🐻

The Dark Bear

Brum is larger and broader than Blue, with deep warm brown fur and a deeply furrowed brow that looks like a storm cloud. He carries a great deal — more than he has ever said out loud. His roar, when it finally comes, is not anger. It is release.

He shows Blue that strength and struggle are not opposites. That the heaviest things, when finally spoken, become lighter.

Found: sitting against the roots of an old tree, in the dark, waiting to be heard.

Luma the Butterfly

Luma 🦋

The Butterfly

Luma is small and extraordinary. Her wings are veined with gold that shifts between amber and honey depending on the light, and tiny golden sparkles drift from them constantly — like she cannot help being a little bit magical.

She doesn't say much. She doesn't need to. Her presence alone feels like warmth returning after a long cold spell.

Leaves behind: golden sparkles, and the feeling that everything might be okay.

Terra the Tortoise

Terra 🐢

The Tortoise

Terra moves slowly. Deliberately. Each step placed with complete intention, as though the ground beneath her deserves to be considered before being touched. She has a deep warm brown shell with geometric patterning and wise, gentle eyes.

She teaches Blue and Ren that the world looks entirely different at a slower pace — and that slow down, look, this is enough is one of the most important things anyone can learn.

Pace: unhurried. Always.

Pip the Rabbit

Pip 🐰

The Rabbit

Pip is small and slight, with warm autumn-bracken brown fur and wide alert eyes that are always slightly watchful. Her nose twitches rapidly. Her ears move between flat and upright depending on how safe she feels. She carries a tiny dried clover leaf — it helps, sometimes, to have something small to hold.

She is quietly, unexpectedly brave. And she shows Blue that worry, when named, becomes a little less heavy.

Carries: a dried clover leaf, and more bravery than she gives herself credit for.
